“Being a mom has made me so tired. And so happy.” – Tina Fey

Roman and a very exhausted mama about 6-8 weeks after he was born.

The Exhaustion is REAL.

You can see it in my eyes. I was exhausted then, and I'm exhausted now. I don't think it ever really goes away to be honest, but I've learned, almost three year later, to just deal with it.

But what keeps me going, sometimes, are the comments or compliments I get.

"You're doing good, mama."

I've heard this several times now in recent months, and while the compliment is greatly appreciated, it took me a long time to appreciate it. Makes no sense right?

It took me a long time to realize those saying this to me, were right. I worried so much for so long that what I was doing was harming Roman's development. Turns out, I was wrong.

And that's what I hope you take away from this blog. You are doing the an amazing job. There is no one who would be a better mom for your child, than you. Please always remember that. That was the one thing I always came back to when I questioned everything I was doing. And if there's one thing you take away from this blog, it's this, You are the best mama for your child.
