I saw this video on Instagram and I swear, I lost it. So of course, I had to jump on the trend. The video, is below.

This video didn't just bring tears to my eyes, it also made me stop and think for a moment about what I want my son Roman to know.

I want him to know no matter what anyone says about him, he is who he is and I love him unconditionally.

I want him to know I will ALWAYS have his back. I will ALWAYS help him through any obstacle he may face in life. My love for him will NEVER fade, even when he makes mistakes, because let's be honest he will make mistakes.

I think unconditional love is the best gift we can give our kids. It's so easy, and sometimes so hard, but so completely necessary.

I hope this blog inspired you to write a message to your child, or even just tell them how you feel. The more open we can be as parents the safer our children feel, and the more willing they are to open up to us.
