Living His Best Life...

We were sitting in our living room the other night, with Ms. Rachel playing on our TV, and my son Roman was just living his best life. Yelling out numbers, letters, singing along with her. It was a moment I had dreamed of ever since our pediatrician told us in August we needed to get him tested for Autism.

In that moment, communicating with our son, became our goal. I work full-time, and work an oddball of a schedule at that. So my husband is the one home with the boys during the day. The work that man has put into making sure our son "caught up" just amazes me.

He truly is the reason why Roman is talking, communicating, and even just enjoying learning at this point. He is the reason Roman is living his best life at almost 3-years-old.

Like a Switch...

I will admit, my husband isn't the only one putting in the work, so is Roman. I'm not sure why, or how or really even when it happened, but it's literally like a light switch went off in his brain, and he was just hungry to learn.

Whatever the reason, I couldn't be more grateful. And I am eternally thankful, grateful and truly blessed to have my husband. He refused to give up on our son, and his persistence, has paid off.
