It's over. It's done. And now we wait 4 weeks...

The Eval...

It's called ADOS. It's a combination of a team of professionals that have worked with Roman, and have never met my son before.

We all sat in a room, filled with toys, us up against the wall, away from the action, while one woman conducting the evaluation interacted with Roman. Another, recorded the session for the specialist at our local Children's hospital.

It was really hard as mom to sit back, and watch Roman interact with a complete stranger. I say that, because I wasn't sure what or IF he would react to her.

The Surprise... and Sigh of Relief

He did it!!! He did it!! He did it!!!

We don't know the results of the evaluation, but as a parent, I'm so proud of Roman and how he did!

He made eye contact, said so many words, took her cues and ran with them! I couldn't help but smile the whole 45 minutes!

I'm so proud of how incredibly resilient this kid is, and the hard work he's putting in, and honestly, the difference he's making in my life.
